Elections

Every year (normally in March) the students elect a new cohort of officers to represent them for the next academic year. Each Students' Union administration takes office on July 1st of each year and ceases to hold office on June 30th of the following year. The term of a Students' Union Executive is one year.

The schedule for elections in 2010 for the 2010/2011 academic year is as follows:

15 February 2010 - Student Union Election Nominations Open

22 February 2010 - Students' Union Election Nominations Close

24 February 2010 - Students' Union Election Hustings (Candidate Debate)

2 March 2010 - Students' Union Elections - Polling Opens

3 March 2010 - Students' Union Elections - Polling Closes
